The Singapore Red Cross Society (SRC) is part of the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement – a worldwide, non-political, non-religious movement. Fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality form the basis of our work. As an independent humanitarian organisation, we raise our own funds in serving humanity and in furthering our work, both locally and internationally.

On local shores, your generous donation will go a long way to support our local humanitarian efforts which incorporate:

Red Cross Home for the Disabled
Blood Donor Recruitment Programme
Red Cross Training Centre
Red Cross Non-Emergency Ambulance Service
Red Cross Youth
Adult Volunteer Division
Red Cross Humanitarian Network

Your generous contribution to our local humanitarian efforts will be channeled to a wide range of local services to meet the needs of the less privileged within our community.

S$50 will serve to transport a needy patient to and from medical check-ups via the Red Cross Non-Emergency Ambulance Service and to finance the patient’s hospital admission or discharge.
S$90 will be channeled to subsidising the training of a volunteer to be first-aid ready within the community.
S$935 will provide food, nursing care, accommodation, and physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions, for a resident of the Red Cross Home for the Disabled, for a month.

To further our work and reach out to more of the needy in our community, the Singapore Red Cross encourages corporate partnership with other organisations and companies. One of the ongoing partnership programmes with the Society is the Donation Box Programme 2010.

You can help to support the work of the Singapore Red Cross through placement of donation boxes in your organisation to encourage more donations.
